Granta Contest Group
 | The Granta Contest Group was founded in 1997 by Mark G4AXX, Colin G4CWH, Simon G4EAG, Andy G4KNO. The Group gets it's name from the River Granta (or Cam), which passes through Cambridgeshire and Essex. This picture, from our QSL card, was taken during the 1999 IOTA contest when M4R was used in the multi-op restricted section.Since 2004 we have occasionally joined forces with the Cambridge University Wireless Society putting together multi-single entries with bigger teams, more equipment and better facilities. We're usually active in IOTA, IARU HF Championship, IARU Region 1 SSB Field Day and CQWW SSB. We enjoy inviting guest operators to join us, especially CW ops to help us in multi-mode contests.
