Islands on the Air Contest 2006

This year I was joined by Andy G4KNO, and we operated from Dave G3UEG's station near Chelmsford.
The contest was lots of fun, just really cherry-picking the islands, SSB and a wee bit of CW. Mostly S&P, but with Dave's Alpha and the vertical, we really enjoyed a few good runs.
The high point was being called by ZL4DH at 05.09z on 40m, at the tail end of a wave of callers.
Dave's site is fine on HF (superb on LF!), the yagi is close to the shack though, which means a bag of ferrites is needed to keep rf out of the audio.
