24-25th July 1993, Longstowe Sports Field, TL 308 551.
This contest was where Mark & Simon first met at the Cambridge & District ARC. The station was set up on the Longstowe sports field cricket ground. The call was the CDARC club call G2XV/P, using Icom equipment belonging to the club. We made 760 QSOs in 24 hours.
This was 3 weeks after I started work at Plextek and at the end of the week when we moved up from Surrey to Elsworth, Cambridgeshire.
